Six days left until Mother's day,  always timely in sync on the calendar with the spectacular colors of spring.   The peonies season is in full swing and we thought we would pay tribute to all the awesome moms out there by posting some beautiful spring compositions designed by the skillful hands of floral designer Nicolette Camille and by the talented Saipua team. 

Both floral studios are based in Brooklyn.

Spring display & long weekend

We wanted to share with you our recent window display, and some small improvements on our in-store display. Looking fresh and pretty!

As you can see,  we currently have a wonderful view of a blooming tree across the street, we love the spectacle of Spring!

We hope everyone will have a lovely long weekend. 

They predict beautiful weather and temperatures so whatever you do,  go outdoors and enjoy!

Botanical splendors

It's that time of the year when -  if you live in a big city - you should plan your trip your local botanical garden.

This month the Brooklyn Botanic Garden opened the annual Orchid show with on display some mesmerizing vertical gardens
 created by French botanist Patrick Blanc.

But of course, we equally love the permanent dwellers of the Brooklyn botanic garden:  The cherry blossoms, alpine flowers, azaleas, waterlilies and lotus flowers.  Just breathtaking.
